He was predeceased by his parents, Jackson Britt Sr. and Lelia Jennings Britt. He is survived by his children, Jacqueline Britt Crudup of Elgin, SC, Willard N. James (Cheryl), Bernard Quince, Linda Gilbert and Beverly Adderly of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Richard McGhee, Donna McGhee, Carol McGhee, Alan Britt, Mary Britt, Andrea Britt Cole, Brenda Britt, Nancy Redden, Windy Redden, Walter Redden, Jamie Britt and David Truss; and his siblings, Doris B. McGhee of Elgin, SC., Barbara Truss (Joseph) of Queen and George Britt of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by five Grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
