ALICE WALKER was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on January 31, 1934. Alice was the cherished wife of the late Watson Walker. The beloved daughter of the late Coleman and Percell Clark. She is survived by her brother, Coleman Clark, Jr. of Stamford, CT. Alice Walker gave birth to five loving children, Janice Daniel-Baldie (Lehigh Acres, FL), Yohance Onifade (Dorchester, MA), Mitchell Jones (Chino Hills, CA), Trenee Jones (Hartford, CT), Yvette Jones-Banks (Stamford, CT) and she leaves four stepchildren John Walker, Jace Walker, Wendy Perone and Sandra Pate. Alice was blessed to have 10 beautiful grandchildren, who truly adored her. She is also survived by two son-in-laws Norman Baldie and Lonnie Banks, two daughter-in-laws Mawakana Onifade and Onya Jones, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in laws. The memorial service will be held at Downer Funeral Home, 31 Stillwater Avenue, Stamford, CT on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
