GERTRUDE "TRUDY" STICH VETTI, 72, of Stamford, beloved wife of Alfred J. Vetti, passed away Sunday July 17, 2005 at Stamford Hospital. Born in Stamford June 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Pauline Stich. She was a lifetime Stamford resident and a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two children, Patricia Pinto and her husband Al of Monroe, CT, and Donald Vetti and his wife Stacey of Roxboro, North Carolina. She is also survived by grandchildren Mark and Tarryn Pinto, and Nichole and Sarah Vetti. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Irmie Kalthoff.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 22, 2005 at 11 AM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford with the Rev. Clifford Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday July 21 from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Vetti's name to the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, c/o Stamford Hospital, P.O. Box 9317, Stamford, CT 06904-9317.
