Selma M. Ruggiero
Selma M. Ruggiero, 90, of Somers, formerly of Stamford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Born and raised in Stamford, CT on June 21, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Clinton H. Parker and Elsie (Noack) Parker.
Selma joined the family business, Parker Travel Service and worked with her family until her retirement. She was an avid bowler, a member of the German American Club in Stamford, and also sang in many choirs throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hogan, her stepdaughter, Margaret Ann Tytor, and niece, Judith Cohen. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Rachel Hetzer, Amy Forney, Jessica Daley and Matthew Hogan, and six great-grandchildren, Timothy Little Jr, Caitlin Little, Auryn Daley, Shelton Forney Jr, Cameron Forney, and Reese Forney. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore, and her beloved brother, Robert N. Parker. A loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be missed by so many family and friends.

This is the obituary of Salvatore Ruggiero, the beloved husband of Selma Parker Ruggiro, who died on July 6, 2013 at the age of 84. 

Ruggiero, Salvatore J.
Salvatore James Ruggiero (Sal) (Snooky) passed away July 6th, 2013 at Stamford Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Stamford on February 18th, 1929.
He was predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Margaret (Pepe), 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Sal was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid sportsman, he was active in baseball, softball, golf, hockey, duck pin bowling, bowling and boating.
He was a partner in Parker Travel Service from the 1970's until his retirement.
Sal is survived by his loving wife Selma of 52 years, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
