Pauline A. Powell, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the age of 82. She was born in Stamford on January 13, 1934 to the late Alfredo and Lena Ceccolini.
Pauline was employed as a customer service specialist with Pitney Bowes for thirty years, and during retirement she split her time between Trumbull and Naples, Florida. She was a devoted wife of sixty-four years, and loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid golfer, and belonged to many women's leagues which she won several trophies.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband, Bud Powell, and three daughters, Patti Jones (husband David), Linda Modugno (husband Paul) and Lisa Clements (husband Frank) and three grandchildren Matthew, John and Jordan. She is also survived by her sister Louise Burger of Naples, Florida.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. There will be no calling hours. Interment is private at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
Arrangements are being handled by Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Stamford, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Autism Speaks.
