LORRAINE DELEO 75, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Stamford Hospital. Born March 15, 1933 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen Burke Densky. Lorraine was an employee in the medical billing department at the former St. Joseph's Medical Center, retiring after 20 years. She is survived by her four daughters: Debra Sentementes and her husband Alan of Norwalk; Janet Conforti and her husband Thomas of Milford; Linda Martin and her husband Steve of Shelton; and Kimberly Serpa of Norwalk; two sons: Gary Joss of Stamford; and James Joss and his wife Judie of Shelton; a sister, Shirley Miller of Bethel; a brother, Ronald Densky and his wife Gloria of Brookfield. Eighteen grandchildren: Steven, Daniel, and Jodi Sentementes; Gary, Anthony and David Joss; Jennifer and Stephanie Conforti; Melissa, Brian, Jamie, and Joseph DeMarco; Jimmy, Jillian and Erik Joss; and Stephanie, Jessica and Amanda Serpa; and her dog, Maggie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two husbands, James J. Joss, Jr. and Caesar F. DeLeo; a sister, Helen Layman; and two brothers, Henry and Raymond Densky. Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Sunday, October 5 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Monday, October 6 and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
