Frank Henry "Turk" Andrews, II died at his home in Naples, FLorida on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. He was born in Stamford, CT on May 4, 1932, son of Maxwell and Ann (Brundidge) Andrews.

Turk was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War, serving on the USS Lake Champlain, with Attack Squadron 82 (VA-82).

Mr. Andrews retired as a supervisor at Alligator Alley toll facilities. He worked numerous security posts as a sergeant in Naples, including the airport. Turk was an avid gun enthusiast and a member of the NRA.

Survived by his son, Mike Andrews; daughter, Endia Andrews Zais; and the light of his life, his granddaughter, Sarah-Margaret Andrews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Clawson Andrews). Turk was well loved by his family and many friends.

Mr. Andrews's body was cremated with a private service held by his family and close friends.

The Andrews family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Powers at the Naples V.A. Clinic.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or the Veterans Administration Clinic in Naples.
