Marion Marie Annunziato Mulreed, age 73, passes away on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at home in Southbury, with her family. She and her husband had been life long resident of Stamford before moving to Southbury early this year. Born on March 23, 1933 in Stamford, she was the daughter of Charles and Celia Annunziato. Marion was a graduate of Stamford High School. She passionately worked as a sales associate at Bloomingdale's for 30 years. Where she made many dear close friends of both coworker and customer. She leaves behind wonderful memories for her devoted husband of 54 years, Francis W. Mulreed; her three children and their spouses, Karin and Ed Nadriczny, of Monroe, Kerri and Sam Dimitratos, of Woodbury, and Kenneth and Sheri Mulreed, of Stamford. She is also survived by her five cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Eric Dimitratos, Steven and Chelsea Mulreed and Krista Nadriczny; and a great-granddaughter, Hailey Marie Dimitratos. Marion will be remembered for love for all children, for her generous caring nature, her positive outlook on life, her love for music and theater and her passion and joy of entertaining her friends and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Cecelia's Church, Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Stamford, on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 4 to 8 p.m. The family wishes to thank Dr. Nina Inamdar and the caring nurses and staff of the VNA Health at Home of Watertown. Because of Marion's love for children, in lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to The Hole in the Wall Gang Fund, 555 Long Wharf Drive, Dept. W. New Haven, CT 06511. Marion will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
