COLUMBIA - Funeral services for John R. Clark, 74, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews, is in charge.
Mr. Clark was born October 4, 1933, in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late Ralph and Susan Clark. He passed away Friday, April 18, 2008.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores A. Clark; sons, Michael Critzman and his wife Angie, Anthony Critzman and Paul Critzman; daughters, Lisa Rodriguez and her husband Tony and Cynthia Colon and her husband Jose; sister, Susan Runnalls and her husband Raymond of Port Jevis, NY; brothers, Vincent Clark and his wife Sharon of Bedford, TX, Michael Clark and his wife Kim of Port Jervis, NY, and Ralph Clark and his wife Barbara of Stamford, CT; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild is expected and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters, Edith Clark and Kathleen Clark Piorkowski.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jeffery Hook and staff, Dr. Petit and his team and Brian Center of Irmo for all the compassion and care that they showed to the family during this difficult time.
