Donald E. Coyte, age 83 of Canton, Georgia passed away on April 24, 2017. Don was born on March 7, 1934 to the late Morgan and Dorothy Coyte. In 1953, he joined the United States Navy. He served honorably in the Korean War as a medic. He married Nancy Coyte in 1976 and they grew together over the next 41 years. Don was an avid and loyal University of Michigan fan. He enjoyed all sports, especially college football. He loved reading, landscaping and cooking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Coyte, sister Lois Cowan and stepson Kevin Crum.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Coyte; brother David Coyte; daughters Donna Coyte, Christy (Alan) Meyer, Lynn (Danny) Mclean, and Joni Coyte; stepdaughter Tonya (Joe) Wyatt; stepson Barry Crum; and many grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 29th, 2017 from 4:00-6:00p.m. at Woodstock Funeral Home. United States Navy will render honors at 5:30pm.
