Joel Freedman

JEAN D (NIZOLEK) COOK, 76, a resident of Saratoga

Springs NY, previously of Stamford, died at home

Saturday, April 25, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born

January 2, 1933 in Stamford, she was the daughter of

the late Stanley and Mary Bird Nizolek. Survivors

include her husband of 55 years, Norman Cook of

Saratoga Springs; sons Glen Cook (Mary Beth) of

Tiverton RI, and Jeffrey Cook (Linda) of Schuylerville

NY; daughter, Mary Ann Geiger of Gansevoort, NY;

brothers, Ed of Stony  Creek, NY, Stanley of New

Britain and Charles of Darien; sisters, her twin, Joan

Aguire of  Stamford, and Evelyn Ragusa of Riverside;

grandchildren, Cassandra Jean, Colin, Austin, and

Hannnah Cook, and MacKenzie, Kelsey and Carmeron

Geiger. A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 30, 2009.
