I am so sad to see Janeen’s name “in memory”. In fact I keep hoping this is somehow a mistake. My fondest memories of high school centered around Janeen. As a new kid in town, lucky for me she took me into her circle my freshman year. I had a true friend. She was a person who lived her life with purpose and with faith. I hope Dale and their beautiful family are taking comfort in the knowledge that she knew that God had her hand every step of her journey.
She home-schooled our kindergarten-aged sons, Steve and Aaron and extended her love of knowledge and family to our son. I have always been grateful for that extra special boost she gave him before 1st grade. I admired her for so many reasons and regret that we didn’t keep in closer contact over the years. I thought of her as being invincible and wish I knew what took her from all who loved her. I would have liked to tell her she made an impact in more ways than she knew.
I am so sad to find out about Janeen passing. We were friends in several classes in high school. She came to Norris hall to hear me play music. She was a really sweet person. So sad.
