A Streator man died Wednesday night, several hours after his motorcycle collided with a farm tractor near Matthiessen State Park.
Jeny Trenor, 65, was pronounced dead at 6:03 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
State police reported Trenor was driving his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle about 1:20 p.m. north on Route 178, less than one mile south of Route 71. He was behind a 1991 Case tractor, also going north. Corcoran said he started to turn left into a field entrance when the left front tire of his tractor was hit by the motorcycle in the southbound lane as Trenor was trying to pass.
The motorcycle skidded into a ditch and turned over several times, Trenor was thrown from his motorcycle. Utica Ambulance took Trenor to illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru, before he was taken to Peoria. As of Thursday morning no charges had been filed, but the crash remained under investigation.

STREATOR — Jerry D. Trenor, 65, of Streator, passed away Wednesday, May 15, as a result of a motorcycle accident near Utica.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Emery Green Cemetery, Streator.
Pallbearers will be David Trenor, Kerry Bruck, Michael Bruck, Bob Mounce, Jim Lynch and Mike Sineni. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim, Ron, Jack, Tom, Craig and Kevin Porter, Aaron Maubach and his grandchildren.
Born Dec. 6, 1947, in Streator, he was the son of Dale and Gertrude (Jolin) Trenor. He married Barb Sharisky. They later were divorced. She survives in Streator. He later married Susan Maubach on Nov. 30, 1996, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Streator. She survives in Streator.
He also is survived by sons, Todd (Jorie) Trenor, of Plainfield, and Terry (Renee) Trenor, of Streator; stepdaughter, Allison (Aron Compton) Maubach, of Streator; a stepson, Aaron (Sarah) Maubach, of Streator; grandchildren, Cassidy, Bria, Makenna, Carson and Mallory Trenor; stepgrandchildren, Haley, Ashlyn and Adyson Maubach and Chase and Carter Compton; a sister, Jolene Bruck, of Streator; and a brother, Dale L. Trenor, of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and sister in infancy.
Born and raised in Streator, he attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School, Class of 1966.
He worked as a construction laborer for several years before going to work for Exelon. He worked for Exelon as a senior mechanic for 23 years, retiring in 2003.
After his retirement, Jerry stayed busy with various projects and ran his own lawn care and handyman business. He also worked part-time maintenance for Bill Walsh.
He was a member of Sandy Ford Sportsman's Club and the National Rifleman's Association. He also was a former member of Lazy Acres and the Streator Eagles Club.
Jerry has had a motorcycle since his high school days and loved spending time riding. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and never missed their activities. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
