Dave Dutko VIEW PROFILE

David Lee Dutko, 57, of 5 Hilltop Drive, died at 6:52 a.m. Friday July 29, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Streator.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elias Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Lellelid of St. Petri Lutheran Church in Flanagan will officiate. Music will be provided by organist Lorraine Harms.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Alec, Austin, Jared and Joshua Dutko, Mitchell and Zachary Uratchko, Pierce and Peyton Ruiz, Maxwell, Jackson and Charles Smith and Emma Colle.

Full military rites will be accorded including flag folding, honor guard and firing squad by members of Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post #217 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1492.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after the visitation.

Born Jan. 30, 1948, in Streator, he was the son of Stephen and Ann (Oleson) Dutko. He married Nancy Pottinger in 1967. He later married Betty (Bergstad) Ellsworth. She survives.

Also surviving are sons, James Dutko of Long Point and Earl (Amy) Dutko of Streator; his mother, Ann Dutko of Streator; stepdaughters, Carrie (Mrs. Dave) Uratchko and Kendle (Jake Elias) Ellsworth, both of Streator, Paige (Mrs. Carl) Smith of California, Amy (Mrs. Sotero) Ruiz of Texas , Clairanne (Mrs. Michael) Colle of Sandwich; four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; brothers, Steve Dutko, Gerald (Cindy) Dutko and Richard (Sharon) Dutko, all of Streator; and sisters, Lois (Mrs. James) Brooke of Streator and Jean (Mrs. George) Rhodes of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Donna Stanford.

He served in the United States Army, he then worked at Owens-Illinois Glass Mfg. in the maintenance department as a crew leader for over 40 years.

He was a member of Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post #217 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #645.
