SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Jane A. Cox-McCoy, 61, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and formerly of Streator, died Sunday, June 20, at Salt Lake City Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.

Born Dec. 1, 1948, in Streator, she was the daughter of Forrest and Leona (Kakara) Cox.

Her parents survive in Streator. She also is survived by a daughter, Jennel McCoy of Salt Lake City; sisters, Mary Ellen (Bob) Duttlinger of Grand Ridge and Connie (Larry) Durdan of Streator; brothers, Ray Cox of Streator, Larry (Kris) Cox and John (Alice) Cox, both of Oswego, and Kevin (Robin) Cox of Batavia; many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruth Cox.

Born and raised in Streator, Jane attended St. Stephen's Grade School and graduated from Streator Township High School. She also attended Midstate College.

She moved to Salt Lake City 34 years ago.
