Wow! One of the really great people I have known. A humble, funny, energetic guy. Met "Luke" in 7th grade and was always in awe of his energy in keeping us all entertained.

Played football with Dave a very dedicated player with more energy than anyone I knew but the thing I remember most about Luke was he respected everyone and I never heard him say anything deragatory about anyone, a humble man and once you became his friend you were friends forever, rest in peace Luke

I remember running 440 yard relay with Dave at Northlawn. Dave always looked like an athlete. He inspired me to run faster than I ever had before. We won that relay, set a record. It was an honor to have known him. Peace be with the family.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Daves passing.  He was a good friend and we met from time to time when I lived in the East Peoria area.  I remember introducing him to my son at a meet the teacher conference I went to at East Peoria.  My prayers go out to the family.   Jim
