STREATOR — Toni Jean Overy, 67, of Streator, passed away Monday morning, Jan. 18, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
Per her wishes she was an organ donor with cremation rites following and that there would be no services. Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Toni was born on Sept. 11, 1948, in Streator, to Ernie and Mary (Zoller) Newell Sr.
She is survived by a son, George Harlacher, of Missouri; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline (Rick) Alvey, of Streator; and brother, Ernie (Carla) Newell Jr., of Streator.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joann Harlacher and a sister, Priscilla Fribbs.
She graduated from Streator High School and was a waitress at several restaurants in Streator over the years.
