Jack Rose recently found Bill Farrell’s obituary in the “Rockford Star.”  William Francis Farrell passed away in Colorado Springs in 2012..  Many of us knew Bill in his younger years at St. Mary’s, and he was with us in high school in our Freshman and Sophomore years.  He then left town with his parents and siblings.   Bill was survived by his wife, Margie Farrell (Bergquist); son, Sean; daughter, Kellie Farrell; brothers, Dan, Tom, Tim, Mike, Pat and Kevin.

WILLIAM FRANCIS FARRELL COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - William Francis Farrell went to be with God on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. Bill was born Feb., 17, 1948, in Spring Valley, Ill. He previously resided in Rockford, Ill., until 1981, before moving to Colorado Springs. Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margie Farrell (Bergquist); son, Sean; daughter, Kellie Farrell; brothers, Dan, Tom, Tim, Mike, Pat and Kevin. Predeceased by mother, Teresa; father, John; and sisters, Mollie Noreen Farrell and Jane Ann Farrell. Memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Cappadona Funeral Home in Colorado Springs.
