Charles T. Washington, 70, of Streator, died Tuesday, July 10, at his home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Solon-Telford Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Private family burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
He attended local schools and Ottawa High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Early in his life Charles worked as a certified Private Investigator and helped to solve many cases for various lawyers and the States Attorney’s Office. He later worked in the construction and trucking field.
