The best teacher that I had during high school was Jack Wilson.  Mr. Wilson helped me to graduate after I had to quit school in January of my senior year.  He always went above and beyond the norm to help me.  I will always be grateful to Mr. Wilson.   I was so sorry to hear of his passing.

I thought Ohlendorf in earth science was good.  He was just 5 years older than his students so it was his first year teaching and he was still enthusiastic and not cynical about the profession as he was when I visited with him 20 years later.  Mr. Arbogast as an English teacher was also very good, I liked him a lot even though me no good at engleesh then.  Someone like him he had a professionalism and dignity that others didn't so I never gave him any grief like I did Woodruff or others I didn't like.
