Beth Carter (Dawson)

Hey everybody
I took my kids to the pool today, since I spent most of yesterday walking down memory lane on this forum.

I love hearing everyone's stories. Keep them coming.

Stephen
I can't believe you are marrying Mrs. Thomas' daughter. She was my favorite teacher. I loved her.

Lauren
I agree with Tricia. Put cheerios or something for him to aim for in the potty. Jack loved doing that, but he loved to go outside as well, still does. I let him do it...much easier than going to a bathroom. The great outdoors is germ free.

Stephen- Congrats! Laura is who I thought it was, but I did not want to start anything that was wrong...When is the big day?

Beth- I have heard about the cereal in the toilet. He is just lazy and would prefer to just go in the pull-up. The only reason he went outside today was he had on no clothes!

Hi everyone, I downloaded a picture of the deer camp that the New Year's Eve party was held on my profile page. It is falling in now. I don't think it was ever the same after we got through with it!!

I also found an old powderpuff football picture of the guys dressed up as cheerleaders. I downloaded it also.

Fruit Loops in the toilet...man I wish my momma would have thought of that! I may try that out later!!!!

Lauren Hartz (Clark)

Stephen....I would hope that by this time in your life you do not need fruit loops in the toilet! Remember you are suppose to be getting MARRIED soon. ha ha Not quite sure, but Laura may back out on you if she knew you were doing those kinds of things....

I'll just tell her ya'll told me to do it...Laura's mad because her class does'nt have this....Lauren I see your mom quite a bit...I would have acted better when I was younger if I knew back then I was going to have to work with all these people today....

Beth Carter (Dawson)

Stephen I totally agree. I wish my mom had reminded me more to be nice to people when I was younger....I feel so embarrased when I run into my old teachers or people I knew back then. Sometimes I actually will hide from them. I could act like such a little b*%#h sometimes!! Whew...so glad I've grown up and don't act like that anymore. Ha! My husband would probably disagree!!

How is everyone today? I'm a little tired! You always hear people saying that government employees never work, but I happened to here 16 hours yesterday..WHEW. I didn't leave until 11:30 last night and I am back here at 7:30.

Stephen- My mother loves you! She also thinks a lot of Laura. I do not know if she knows about the wedding. I will have to remember to tell her when I talk to her today. I think they use to teach together.

Beth- keep your fingers crossed for me today. I am having a surprise party for Jack tonight. It is his 39 1/2 birthday party. His 40th will be the day after Christmas and I can't do anything then. He told me a few years ago...very pathetically...that he never had a surprise party. We will see what happens. Lots to do. Got up early to clean the house before the kids got up...and you see how far I have gotten-the computer!

Have a good day!

Beth that is so true...your honesty always tickles me and is so refreshing. I think we all have changed so much since we were young and in High School....Thank the Lord! That is why it is fun to connect now and laugh about the old times, but know we have all grown. If we started an apology forum the strip would be a mile long, bc I am sure we all need to say we are sorry to someone for something.

Speaking of the Lord...go and look at Shannon Morgan's profile...it is such a God thing.

Shannon-I am very very happy that your life has come full circle!

Lauren what a great idea! He will be so shocked. I never thought of that. I guess you are having it at your house?

When I think of you I think of your house and how I used to ride my "Green Machine" go-cart (it was LIME GREEN) down around the field to get to Beumer(SP?)street and I would LOVE to go to your house bc their were three of you to play with. That go-cart almost took some kids to see Jesus too early. I crashed into John Paul w/ Ginger Townsend (with me) on his moped and sent him to the hospital I think. I then flipped it on the pavement with Shelley Siems on it. I also was with Shannon Sayre and we were pushing it up the ditch to go to your house and ended up getting rushed to the hospital with a 3rd degree burn on the back of my leg!

I always loved playing in the cul-de-sac with everyone. Your house was fun.

I almost dread birthday parties. Both of my kids are summer birthdays within a month of each other. They do wear a girl out!!
Lauren
I love what you are doing for Jack. I wish I could come! I may do that for Roddy. I know he will love it!

I am about to go to a meeting, but lets all think about the most embarrassing thing that happened to us AT school, not at a party, but at the actual school. That way everyone can remember it.....I'll have to think about it, and post mine later. That will be fun, I can't wait to hear everybody's stories.

I do remember one embarrasing thing about junior high. I was so lost the first probably 2 weeks of school. I don't do well in circles. I would have to run everyday from my locker to Mrs. Porter's room when one day I actually looked at where I was and found Mrs. Porter's room right next door to my locker. I felt so stupid!!! I also remember being carried to agri by Stephen R. and Scott R. alot and they would dump me in the trash can outside the building. Thanks guys, I guess I was just trash to you? No don't answer that. I love ya'll anyway.

I can't imagine having a 16 year old!! I don't know what I will do when I have to think about buying cars. Whew. You sound like a fantastic mom....much better than I will be. I might have to tell my 16 year old that she will have buy her own Tiffany jewelry!! Momma doesn't even have any Tiffany jewelry. I'm a big talker aren't I. My daughter is so strong willed, I'm sure I'll be doing whatever she says....I already do and she's only FOUR!!

I'm still thinking on my most embarrasing moment.

Hey Dave...The ARMY should have given you a fishin' pole instead of that gun...

Tricia, Thanks for putting the powderpuff picture on your profile. Looking at me then and now makes me want to try out for the Biggest Loser. Damn I was skinny, had hair, had two good hips (have a artifical hip now), in shape, etc..... Thanks again Tricia.

Picture this!! I have 19 year old who is in college and does not have a car and NO DRIVER'S LICENSE either. So, I don't have to worry about the car or jewelry or anything because he knows how to find women with cars and jobs. I told him if he wasn't gonna get his license then he'd better keep that trend going.

Sounds like your son is a pretty smart guy. That is cracking me up. I guess as long as he can keep that up there is no need to get his license.

I think he's scared of that TEST. He doesn't want to pay that $5 extra for everytime he flunks whenever he does decide to get them.

Hey Saranie, I wish they would have given me a fishing pole instead of this gun I have to carry everywhere I go. I saw you were getting married, congratulations with that. I am ready to get home and see my wife and family again. See ya brother.

Aaron, glad I could take you down memory lane. I guess old pictures will inspire us to lose weight for the reunion. I know I better get started now!! You were a skinny little thing weren't you. I guess I was too. Remember when we used to play football in your yard? Those were the days in our neighborhood!! Love ya.

wow, most embarrassing moment, GEE, i think most of my highschool moments were stupid things that i did! The time i fell flat on my face cheering at the pep rally , just because i tripped over my foot, or the time i got tackled on the field (the other team was tackling our players ), in the middle of a cheer, the time they had a school meeting with parents because of out of control cheerleaders at a party throwing up everywhere, ( i must have had a stomach virus). There are tons more i am sure!!
God pushed me through those nutty years some how!

Tell your son to get one of his women to give him the money.

Jil
I have to say, you falling at the pep rally may be my most embarrassing moment too. Ha. I had totally forgotten about that. I can't stop laughing.

I think my most embarrassing moment started in Mrs. Branson's class when I had to present some type of book report. I had just started dating Stephen Reinhart and when I stood up in front of the class, I just freaked out and couldn't talk and my face and neck turned beet red. Somehow I finished it, BUT from then on, I could NOT talk in front of people AND still can't to this day. The most embarrassing moment was after that in Mrs. Luke's class when I had to read some story I had written out loud. I couldn't do it. My voice was shaking and my face and neck turned so red. The whole class was laughing and thought I was crying.....it was terrible. Mrs. Luke made me finish it.....anyway that scarred me for life and I still avoid speaking at all cost. Thanks Stephen!!

I have found some funny pictures to post. As soon as I figure out how to scan them I'll post them on my profile. I even found 2 from our 10 year reunion.
