Officially retired a few months ago in 2020, but still working.

The day after graduation I left for work in Kodiak Alaska at Uganik Bay fish cannery and the summer of 1972 as well. Between those two summers I entered the carpenter's apprenticeship program.

I married Ann when I was 21. I worked out of carpenter's local 1849 in Pasco.

In 1978 we came to Yakima and I began my career. I built our home where we still reside 43 years later in West Valley.

In my book, everything was a positive. SHS offered abundant learning opportunities, good sports programs, an array of wonderful friends and just about as much fun as a teenager should be allowed to have!
