Alton Higgins

Now retired to the beautiful mountains of North Georgia (Hiawassee), enjoying working with the local Red Cross, Amateur Radio (Emergency Coordinator for Towns Co.), W4VFZ. My wife and I dated in High School (Dade City, FL), and meet again in 1997 and FINALLY got married! Life has been great since, only medical problems are failed knee replacements (DON'T have that done!) Visit with Angela as often as possible, and am proud of her musical accomplishments, and my association with the NGHS Band Boosters for some 6 years.

As the "nasty guy" who set up the sound system (remember R2D2?) at the summer camps, and awakend every one at the crack of dawn with the music from the "War of Britian" at full volume on R2D2 (for those who don't know or remember, that was the portable radio/sound system I built for the band so everyone could hear Bruce shout instructions to the band).
Wonder what ever became of R2D2?
