Children: I was married 35 years to a lady I met at the University of Texas. We were married in 1963, but divorced More…in 1998; I have 5 children; 19 grandchildren; My 4 daughters [Julie 1966, Rebecca 1968, Catherine 1971, Charlotte 1972] live in Texas with their families and my son, Jonathan [1980] and his family live in Rutland, MA. All my kids graduated from college [4 from Univ of Texas and my son from Texas A&M]. I have been with my partner, Clifford, since 1999 and we live in Burleson, Texas.
Comments:

I received three degrees from the University of Texas: my BA in Zoology in 1965; my MA in Microbiology in 1968 and my PhD in microbiology in 1970. I attended Harvard Business School in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell and we had the San Francisco earthquake. It is easy to remember when I went to Harvard. I worked for a pharmaceutical company [Alcon Laboratories] for 39 years and retired in 2009. I consider myself a research pharmaceutical microbiologist....yes...all that. I have been a director and past President of the Harvard Business School Club of Fort Worth. Now, I spend time for conservative political causes and am very active in the tea party movement. I am currently President of the Texas Patriots Tea Party.[www.texaspatriotsteaparty.com]. Check it out.
School Story:

I am a party crasher. I attended Emerson School from 3rd grade to sixth with many of you. I noticed that it is now some kind of Islamic center. I went to Benjamin Franklin Jr High for 7th and 8th grades and on to Teaneck HS for 9-11th. My family moved to Houston Texas between my 11th-12th grade and I ultimately graduated from Bellaire HS in Houston. Being there for only one year, I have no allegiance to Bellaire, but have fond memories of my time in Teaneck. So, I actually didn't graduate from Teaneck HS, but appreciate being included in this esteemed group of people.

John, here is a video from 1960 when my family left Teaneck and moved to Texas. Your parents and other neighbors gathered to say goodbye. Only you and I would care about this file... everyone else is gone. Hope you can see this. Let me know. Barry

Happy Birthday, Ginny. Hope all is well with you on this day too. I hit the big 75.... how was it for you last year?
Life is good here. Retired from Alcon after 39 years in 2009 and from the tea party last year after 10 years. Selling our home here in Burleson, Texas.

So sorry to hear that my Teaneck neighbor on Maple Avenue has passed away.

I had seen her at our 50th Reunion in 2011. Of course, we remembered the old times at Grace Lutheran Church.

I've included a few snaps that might be nice to remember Barbara by.
