Nat and Shirley Meropol....they were always laughing.....

Senior picnic.....stoned......playing Spud, but calling it "FUCK" instead.....and watching Janie Berk "Bee lining" it deep into the woods, who had FUC at the time, when I caught the ball in the air and then called her number.....it seemed like she froze in middair as she continued on her path.....was that smoke coming from her ears??? I could see the disbelief on her face, even though all I could see was the back of her head. (UPDATE 2009.....HAS ANYONE SEEN HER LATELY? AND HER GORGEOUS DAUGHTER?)

I would have been the kicker on the football team instead of playing soccer.

I would have invested in IBM.

I would have created the internet.

I would have found a way to discover Adderall.

I would have spent more time in David Victor’s basement.

After graduating from Syracuse in 1973 I traveled west and ended up in Big Sur for 6 months. Amazing place. met wonderful people and learned a lot about chopping wood, the ocean, redwood trees, Pfeifer Big Sur Beach, Route 1, women, and then some.

Lived in New Hampshire for 2 years where I got a masters in Environmental Sciences, took photos and wrote articles for local magazines. etc.

Moved to NYC in 1977 to work with my father in the safe business, and the rest is history. Love NYC while spending many weekends every year upstate just north of Rhinebeck in Columbia County, where I have a home in the country.

As much as I would have loved to have married and had children, it hasn't happened.
