Theresa passed away on September 11, 2011 at the age of 59.  Theresa passed away after an extended illness.  Theresa was a Nuwa Indian of the Tehachapi area and was proud of her family heritage.  Both of her parents, Ed and Clara Williams were fluent Nuwa speakers and her great-grandmother, Emma Williams and brother, Harold are depicted on the Indian mural on the side of the Hitching Post Theater in Tehachapi.  She will be missed by the members of the Class of 1970.
