Robert (Bob) Compton

I was the shy quiet one being voted The Quietest Boy in the Senior Class. Most of you probably don't even remember me. Joan now says she wishes that I would just quit talking and be quiet again. I guess I am just trying to make up for lost time.

Joan and I did attend the 40th reunion. Since then I retired from Bank One (now J P Morgan Chase). After living in Tempe/Scottsdale virtually all my life, Joan and I decided if we wanted to be part of our Grandkids lifes we needed to be where they were. Since Robb lived 7000 miles away in Japan we decided to move to Norfolk Virginia to be close to Rick and his family. We bought a house and got settled in and then 2 1/2 years later he took a job in Chicago Illinois. So, off we moved to Chicago. We got settled in and then a year and a half later he got transferred to Houston Texas. We have now been here for 4 years. we will have to wait and see how long this lasts. Well, it lasted 5 years. We now live in Temecula California. Much closer to the Phoenic area so we will be making more trips there! We were in Temecula for 2 years and then decided to move back to Phoenix. We bought a home in Pebblecreek in Goodyear. We lived there for 6 years and then decided we had one more move in us. So, in 2021 we moved back to Texas and now live in The Woodlands Texas.

After graduating from ASU I spent a year with REA Express in Redding California. I came back to Phoenix and spent the next 32 years with Valley Nationak Bank/Bank One/ J P Morgan Chase.
