Connie & I were part of the Moses Lake kids. She lived near Sarah Velasco, Cathy Morton, Cynthia Erwin and Caroline Baker in the what is now Quaker Drive area, the most northern end of Moses Lake. I can still remember us riding the school bus together every morning. She always seemed happy during that time, mostly Jr. High years. It's hard to believe she's been gone all these years.
I too was one of those Moses Lake kids who knew Connie well. She always had a smile on her face and was always so polite and nice to everyone. Never did have any anger to go along with her red hair. It was such a shock to loose one so young.
