Oh, this is just terrible....had no idea Clif had passed. When I saw this, I was shocked and had to read it several times before it sunk in. Does anyone know what happened? I found the obituary in The Galveston Daily News but it didn't give any details. Also does anyone know how to get in touch with any of his family?
Clif and I started our friendship our Sr. year and we really were the most unlikely of friends. I know everyone thought we were more than friends because we were together all the time. It really was just a strong, but unusual friendship. I so regret losing track of my dear friend but I have some wonderful memories...rest in peace old friend. Susy Foreman Haefli

Clifton and I go way back to elementary school. I remember in our 5th grade class he was such a comedian. I saw him last at the grocery store in TC years ago.

I saw his obit in the Galveston paper on-line and went to his funeral. His brother Mike told me that Clifton had gone to Norfolk, VA to visit his step-son in the Navy and died in his sleep there. He apparently had an enlarged heart that neither Clifton nor his family knew about. It was a shock for his entire family. So sad.
