Beverly was one of my closest childhood friends. We kept in touch through the years, and I was heartbroken when I learned she had died. Beverly had such a tough battle with diabetes--a kidney transplant, blindness, and heart disease. However, she was a fighter and didn't have the word "quit" in her vocabulary. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was a wonderful friend the 50 years I knew her.
Leah, Marcia, Beverly and I were good friends in high school. I posted pictures of us standing together in front of the school..... I think we were eating ice cream. she's in another picture of us on our senior skip day. we all went to the beach I think Pat Hoggard was there too.... one among many and there was someone there younger than us but she skipped out too. good memories of Beverly. she will be missed. rest in peace friend.
