Man what a great week in Vegas! Went for work...worked all day then grinded out on the poker tables all night. I ended up taking home 35k...can't wait to go back in two weeks.

Opps...just realized I didn't specify it was 35K pennies...lol. Anyway, I'll be in Vegas Aug 11-15, September 15-19, September 29 - October 3, and October 13-24....and days to be named later. If anyone is in the area those days, please give me a call.

Hey everyone. I heard from Jim Tinney's room-mate. He had his surgery on the 23rd. They removed 85% of the tumour and left the rest because it was so close to his vision. Everything went well. He will be home for a month so if anyone wants to e-mail him his address is tinney_jim@q.com. He would like to hear from everyone.

Hi Joline, I hope everyting is going good for you. I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to answer back, but my children keep me pretty busy these days. I haven't gotten all the details, but they think it was a head trauma from a fall that she had.

Hey all!!! Due to a wedding in the family I will be unable to attend the festivities, however if anyone is interested, I will be having a BBQ with lots of food and beer at my house on Aug 16. Let me know if anybody wants to come by and say hey...

Howdy from Texas! First, thanks to those who have worked so hard on this web site. It is great!
I was so bummed to find out the reunion is on the weekend of my son's birthday. Wish I could be there to see you guys! Have a good time and maybe see you all in the future. Prayers to Jim and for Susan and all who may need them! Party on for those of us who cannot make it!

Sounds like I missed one crazy party - Beer Bongs & Cops....really?? Sounds like all we were missing were some underclassmen crashing the party. I can't wait to see the evidence (I mean photos).

I'm sorry I missed seeing everyone. I had a hysterectomy the week of the Reunion. From the sounds of it, this party probably would've kicked my ass even before the surgery!

I'm all for a gathering in 5 years or less. It should be easy if this site keeps up and running.

Take Care,
Jennifer Dietz (Parys)

I just want to tell you thank you for setting this whole class reunion up. I had a blast. I can't believe I can still do a beer bong!!! Hope to get together with everybody and not have to wait another 10yrs.

Lori Comstock (Badsky)

Hi Everybody,
I want to thank Griag and Leslie for putting this wonderful event together. It was so good to see everyone again. I had such a GREAT time. We all need to do this again some time soon and not wait another 10 years. The class of "88" still can party like a bunch of rock stars. Lol. For those who couldn't make it you missed.

Donald Medina

Ok first off I must say that the party I attended must have been the PG-13 version. Tree had so much fun fri night he went MIA on sat night!! Then after My friend and I left on sat night apparently Consol became a legend and something about boobies flying around and wives getting upset!?!?!? I must be getting old when I leave early and all the (Parent types) party like it's 1999!!
I must say everyone is alot COOLER than they were in high school!! Especially Miller and his frat house t-shirt dancing on a chair with dollar bills hanging out of his shirt! Since I didn't party in high school it was kind of wierd seeing certain people doing beer-bongs and just letting their hair down!
To all the ladies in our class..........
YOU ALL LOOKED FINE!!! Way better than the guys. Except for Consol who I heard some girl outside of LODO'S say,"He looks like Superman!!" I know that I'm supposed to deflate his ego but you have to admit that is pretty cool! I always get asked what it was like working with Ricardo Montalban!! Oh yeah fella's you all married up!
And speaking of fri night... With everyone asking if my brother Dominic(class of '89 at Skyview) was my plder brother his funneral services... Just kidding. But he did make appointments with a stylist to color his hair and a trainer to lose some weight. Also seeing Melissa Dominguez! Enough about that. Don't need any husbands chasing me. Did enough of that in the late 80's and 90's and 2000's.
To all of you who made my friend Kristin feel so comfortable Thank You! Her and I argued about it for the two weeks leading up to the reunion. She had such a good time she's emailed and texted me a zillion times to say so.
On the flight home I was soooooooo JAZZED UP that I talked to the lady sitting next to me until not one but BOTH ears feel off!!!! I think she didn't mind much since she couldn't stop laughing! My flight landed in San Jose at 11:20pm and by the time I got to my car it was midnight. With the option of driving an hour home or ten minutes to work I opted for work. I parked in the lot at 12:10am and tried to sleep in my car. Yet I couldn't due to ALL THE ENERGY I HAD!?!? So I finally doozed off at 1am and woke up to transport trucks delivering product. Finally my alarm went off at 3:45am. I then went in brushed my teeth and started work promptly at 4am!! When one of my coworkers said right in front of my boss,"Hey Don! What happened to you on sat? Did you get one of those 20yr viruses?" Funny guy. Mondays are real long for me so I clocked off at 3:23pm!! Then drove an hour home. I was so jazzed up that I couldn't fall asleep until 9'ish. Then up at 2:45am. The funny thing is I'd do it all again.
To all of the people responsible for organizing all facets of the reunion...THANK YOU!!! For those of you who know a little about my past this weekend was so good that I have it ranked in my top 5 of all time. Right next to winning national motorcycle races, the birth of my nephew, the day I left Cheerleaders(!?!) and maybe something I shouldn't mention. Needless to say it was good seeing everyone who was able to attend and for those who couldn't make it you were very much missed. The good thing is that there was a rumor on Sunday that now it will happen every 5yrs?

***If I miss spelled words, used poor grammer or punctuation. Sorry... I'm an Adams#1 graduate!!!***

PEACE I'M OUTA HERE......... for now

What a fun time and great posting Don!! Glad you made it home safely. I just downloaded the photos from my camera this evening and got another good laugh just looking at them. No question that Tim and Jen were missed just glad that all went well. Was hoping to see Jolene and Meki at the picnics but either they didn't make it or I left too early. GREAT to see everyone that did and hopefully more in the future. Though it had been 20 years, I must say it felt just like yesterday seeing everyone again. I must say that both Eric Miller and Pam Vasquez get the "coming out the shell" award. No question we'll have plenty of photos to post soon. Fun Stuff!! Just glad to know Class of '88 still knows how to party...unfortunately the recovery takes much longer.

Thanks Craig. So why won't you call me??? Ha Ha Ha

08/18/08 11:38 AM #50

Michael Yates

WHAT? You guys had the reunion without me??

Man, I thought the reunion was 'this' weekend - what the hell!

Ohhhhh, I'm just kidding -- can NOT beleive I missed the class reunion!!! You all don't want to have another just for me, do you?!

Don, thanks for posting some pics. While I was sitting here looking at those photos, I leaned over and told my wife, "man these people look old" -- then she brought me a mirror! Son of a b*#ch!

Seriously folks - I'm sure sorry I missed seeing you all - it was truly my loss.

Any of you brave enough to come to the "970", the "hood", aka "Greeley" - please ship me a note and let me know, as I would enjoy seeing anyone...

As for Lil' Miller: Holy Cow Eric - you sure looked like you were having fun - made a little cash too?! You fooled everybody with your lack of drinking/partying experience??? Yeah right, just how many beer tours have you finished over the years??? I was proud of myself [several years ago] for getting my name printed on the Old Chicago trophy TWICE! Then Eric Miller came around and showed me how many times his name was on the wall - I was a disgrace to the Old Chicago profession! Cheers, Eric.

I will end with this...

I recognize the Clayton picture and have one similar, different class. My mission now is to FIND IT! I know I have it, I'm sure in a safe place; when I do, I will scan it and get it sent in.

I'm glad you all had so much fun - wish I wouldn't have missed it!

That was the best 20th reunion i've been to, well it's the only, but it was great! I had a blast, as it seems we all did! Great seeing you all!

To Quote an 80's movie:
To all of you who put it together: "It was a stone groove my man!"
To Medina: "Nobody likes a give turkey, specially on Thanksgiv'n!"

Craig, can you please post an exploded diagram and users manual for the "Beer Bong" I recall a few people having a problem using it, one one who didn't know what it was (steve shannon). You engineer types come up with the coolest gadgets!

08/18/08 09:07 PM #52

Donald Medina

Yates!!!! You Booner! I was soooo looking forward to seeing you. I feel like the guy who gets stood up at prom!grrrr!! Well Missy Stienmets lives in Stinky town. As for the reunion it was fun for sure. As a hotel bartender I've worked a few parties and this was one of the best. Just nobody went home with the bartender!?!?!?

08/21/08 09:43 PM #53

Pam Vasquez

So, how was the reunion? I wish I could have gone. BUT, I did hear that my wild twin sister showed up there pretending she was me! I heard she was tryin' to convince everyone I'm a cougar - among other things. Poor girl, can't hold her liquor like I do! I'd gladly pay off some of you to lose any pictures or memories from Saturday(and you know who you are!)Anyway, I'm sure my sister had a great time from what she remembers, and can't wait for the next reunion! LOL! But no, seriously, I'll pay you all off, really! =)

08/24/08 01:15 AM #54

Brian Ortega

Medina,
Glad to see you haven't changed a bit. I saw the pictures from the reunion, you all look good. Considering it has been 20 years. Just kidding. You all look good. Sorry I missed the reunion. Looks like I missed out on a great time. Take care!!

08/26/08 01:27 AM #55

Jim Leyshon (Finious)

That's the spirit, Pam! Our damn twins are more fun than we are! What happens in Denver, stays in Denver... next time our twins will eat something and hold the beer bong for everyone else. I say, hell yes to some good old school hedonism! We all deserved some debauchery and you won the least likely to partying like a rock star... too bad you weren't there cuz your twin rules!

08/27/08 12:55 PM #56

Michelle Freer (Nemnich)

WOW.... It would of been so much FUN sitting back and watching you all pretend it 1988 all over again. Bet you woke up Sunday wondering how you'll be explaining those beer bong photos to your kids..LOL And Craig, you gave me the biggest laugh of all, when you requested those photos not be "leaked"...Do I see the White House in your future??

Last, but not least...Is it 2013 yet??

08/28/08 03:57 AM #57

Jim Leyshon (Finious)

Haha... You nailed it, Michelle. "OK, honey, you are doing it all wrong. The end has a switch. Turn it after you put the nozzle to your mouth, you'll get beer all over your mom's rug. We better just try this with just one beer until you can ride without training wheels."

Beer bong aside... it was a fun time for even the sideliners who were laughing with us.

As far as the pictures of Craig... He was the one who was enabling us. Next time, you get to be the designated character holding the beer bong up for us and laughing at our nonsense.

08/30/08 08:20 PM #58

Pam Vasquez

Craig - don't worry, I'm not even in politics, but believe me, I'm a little wary of the pictures that might be floating around too!

Jim, glad our twins had so much fun hanging out! But you know next time it'll be us instead of our crazy-ass twins, and we'll still probably under eat and over drink.....and I wouldn't have it any other way!

And Don, don't be scared to let me know next time you make it back to town....I don't always party like a rock star, sometimes I can be as tame as a lounge singer!

08/31/08 06:31 PM #59

Brian Ortega

Don, Jim, Danny and Dave,
It sure was great to see you all. I had a great time just hanginging out and listening to Medina's stories. I wish we could have recorded it all and we could be rich. I hope we all stay in touch and not wait for another 10 to 20 years to see eachother again. I wish you all the best in life. Dave call me if you need anything for your dad. Take care all and keep it real.

09/01/08 08:56 PM #60

Craig Meis

Hey Pam - Your Twin is AWESOME!! Don't worry about unsavory photos. Jim and I have the controls...OK, maybe you should worry a little. :) Nice to see that Medina, Leyshon, Ortega and the rest of the gang had a nice follow up reunion party. The beer bong is at my mom and dad's incase anyone wants it for their next social event. :)
