I graduated from The Denver Institute of Technology with an Associates in Occupational Therapy (no, I don't find people jobs). At my last clinical in Denver they hired me. It was nice to have a job before I graduated.
I have daughter Taylor born in 1996 and my son Alec born in 1999. We then moved to Loveland and I worked in Boulder, then Longmont and now Berthoud. I am the rehab program manager for the therapy department in a SAVA skilled nursing facility. I like it and it's very flexable. I still hang out with Fernando and Craig when we can.

One of the first things that comes to mind is the New Year's parties we had at Fern's house. Each year his parents waited longer and longer to leave before we could take EVERYTHING down from the walls, take out all the furniture, the Christmas tree...everything. The cops started making it part of their regular patrol by the time Jose was a senior. We charged $2.00 to get in. We had the keg padlocked to the tree in his back yard with a bike lock.

We also used to buy beer and wine coolers (why wine coolers, I don't know) at Cavalier or "The Cav" with our Thornton recreation cards as ID's. The lady also had a stack of rec cards with a rubber band wrapped around them behind the counter that she confiscated from other people trying to buy beer. She gave us Budweiser signs and would always get a handful of that hard bazooka bubble gum and dump it into our grocery bag of beer.

Oh yeah...Hamburger Stand...North Star Drive-in...Roma's...Thornton 3...BB guns & sawed-off BB guns...TP'ing...Meister Brau...Water World...going to Wyoming to buy illegal fireworks...pop-bottle rocket fights at Fern's...sleeping on the trampoline at Ferns...the Super Bowl party at Craig's...The Plendl van...crashing on the scooter with Coop...Coop rolling his Charger...playing quarters at Jenn's house after Water World with a box of wine...float meetings...gas boogies at 7-11...Sea Galley...Craig shooting out the car window with the BB gun in Sea Galley's parking Lot...The Sea Galley Christmas party (remember Jeff?)...playing 2 Live Crew at the school dances...camping out for the Monsters of Rock concert tickets...RUN D.M.C. / Beastie Boys concert at Red Rocks...Jeff's cast..."The Cruiser"...Coop's Buick...the hand-held switch to work the brake lights on the Fiesta...the "free" car wash...the grave yard...Riverdale Road...camping out at Chatfield Res...Jeff using that girls yearbook as firewood...exploding the salt and pepper shakers at Mc Donalds when it was Jeff's first day working there...Jeff quitting the next day, then keeping the uniform and cutting off the sleeves...Coop flattning the "new" trashcans in Highland's parking lot with his buick...throwing fireworks out the window at the clown in front of Baskin Robbins...driving Fern's scooter to Longmont on the highway...Craig, Coop and Jeff had "a bad attitude since they walked in" at Fern's uncles bar...Working at Baby Doe's Matchless Mine and then going out with the waitresses after work to the Iron Works bar...
