NOW 43!! Wow, where the years go...
After high school I attended CU in Boulder, with BA in psychology. Since, I've worked with at risk youth for 9 1/2 years at a residential treatment center and then a detention center. After, I worked as a Case Manager at a homeless shelter for 10 years. I now work at Welby Montessori Elementary as the Health Assistant. The days off are great (summers, spring break, etc.)
I've been married for 22 years and blessed with two wonderful boys. David Dean is now 21 yrs. old. He is going to Red Rocks Community College to get his fire science degree and is on at Federal Hts. fire department on their fire reserve program.
Justin, my other son, was 9 yrs old when he died 9 yrs. ago., in an unfortunate circumstance...he choked on an orange at lunchtime during school.
We enjoy camping, atv'ing, and all outdoor activities. My husband, David, farms a chili crop and pumpkin patch on his free time, harvesting late summer. I offer card making and scrapbooking classes on my free time. All is well overall, living a day at a time!
