Margaret (Margi) High Menken

I have spent the past 28 years living on California's Mendocino coast. My husband Greg and I have a flourishing and all encompassing host of real estate companies: RE/MAX Shoreline Properties and Shoreline Vacation Rentals, Inc. We do real estate sales and long- and short-term property management. We manage a total of 80 rentals along the Northern California coast.
I have been a B-licensed general building contractor since 1984 and own "Finishing Touches". This company grew out of the interior design business, "High Voltage" that I started in 1974. During that time I did model homes all over the southwest, and interiors for corporate offices and hospitals.
My ex- and I owned Ozzie and Harriet's house in Hollywood. During that time, I met Greg Menken who worked in the same medical building as a voice and speech pathologist. Our first date sealed the deal and we have been together ever since. This September 5th marked our 30th wedding anniversary.
We also have a wonderful company called "Frame Free" where we mount, protect and preserve artwork via a process that laminates pictures onto wood blocks and finishes them with a colored edge. It's a great alternative to framing and so much fun! Needless to say, we lead a busy life. This is the year we hope to cut back and travel more.
