Some deaths just hit me harder than others. This is one of them. Like most of you contributors, I knew Russ for close to 75 years (pre-school and kidergarden), I lived next door to him for a couple of years on Michigan and spent many summer days at the Highland Park Grade School play ground playing whatever was in season. After school we were good friends of long standing; not overly close but I always looked forward to class functions because He was one of the people I looked forward to reconnecting. I will miss that.

I seem to have lost the details for the 10/2 event. I kinda remember that it starts at 5 at the Lake Shawnee Yacht Club. Can anyone help me with a link to the info? I will be there,... sometime.
