Charlene passed away January 30th 2011 at 10:30 AM. She fought a long battle with cancer. As a breast cancer and uterine Cancer survivor, she could not survive the cancer that attacked all her organs, but she never gave up. She was excited to be with her Lord.
Charlenes celebration of life was February 12, 2011 at Calvary Chapel Downey at 1 PM. Char requested that everyone wear pink in honor of her and all the cancer victims that passed before her and those still fighting cancer.
She was married to Paul Bowen and had no children.

It is so sad to see a classmate pass. We miss them, and for those of us who are fortunate enough to share the last few years and months through this website, it seems to make it all the harder. And, yet, we would not trade these last few days, months or years for an absence of the pain. Instead, we feel blessed to have been reconnected and to once again share the path with those, many of whom, we have known so long. Charlene is missed, but remembered. Blessing to her and her family.
