Landry, Richard C. TROY Richard C. Landry, 70, passed away on December 17, 2014 after a long illness. Born in Hoosick Falls on April 5, 1944, Richard was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Winton) Landry. He graduated from Troy High School and was a member of the class of 1962. Following his graduation, he served his country in the Navy from 1962 until being honorably discharged in 1966 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Richard was retired from Rensselaer County where he was employed for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Center Brunswick Rod and Gun Club and the Taconic Gun Club. He loved the ocean, working on his train set with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and working in his wood shop. He is survived by his wife, Jane; his children, Kimberly Richburg and her husband Michael of Williston, Vt., Kari Larkin and her husband John of South Burlington, Vt., Kurt Landry and his wife Heather of Hoosick Falls;
