Retired and getting started on fourth novel. Also have become a knitting fool - several Aran pattern sweaters, and about to step up the challenge to more complex challenges like adding color images. We enjoy time with friends and family - generally living and loving my current life.

We spend a lot of time outdoors, canoeing, hiking, boating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and bicycling. Gave up running marathons a few years ago when my injured months started exceeding my functional ones.
School Story:

Most of high school is a blur to me. Senior year stands out with dramatic highs and lows as only a seventeen year old can experience. Mostly I see high school as a formative period when I made solid friendships that continue to today. Things sure were different then! What do you suppose would happen today to a teacher who calls a student "Eagle Beak" in Latin? Or a homeroom teacher who slapped a student for giving his girlfriend a chaste peck on her cheek? My, we've come a long way, haven't we?

I'm taking lessons from classmate Gloria Waldron Hukle, who is much better at marketing than I am. Here are my books, starting with the most recent. All are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. All are easy-read novels for adults (Star Catching also suitable for young adults). I enjoy creating stories about relationships and connections in families and with friends and lovers. My longtime husband, Dennis, and I have a Border Terrier named Nala. I share my love of animals by writing them into my novels.
