School Story:

I remember that on the first day of junior year, I was in Ms. Huxford's History class with Jennifer Leon (Bultman now) and we noticed there was a girl who we didn't recognize. She seemed a little shy, but approachable. We decided to strike up a conversation by complimenting her on her tan and long blond hair. She told us it was her first day at our school and that she'd just moved to Tucson from Colorado. Nearly 12 years later, that "new girl", Jessalyn Bolasky, is still one of my best friends. We were both valedictorians, roommates for 2 years in college at U of A, both majored in Finance and Marketing and she was a wonderful bridesmaid in my 2008 wedding. Going to Sabino introduced me to a life long friend. P.S. Jennifer is still one of my best friends too and was also a great bridesmaid.

I have also lived in:

New Mexico and Texas

Other countries I've visited:

Ireland

Famous or interesting people I've met:

Maxine Clark, CEO of Build-a-Bear. What an amazing businesswoman!

Comments:

I had an incredible time at the University of Arizona. I absolutely loved attending sporting events there, as well as being challenged in the Eller College of Business. After graduating in 2003, I moved to Plano, TX (Dallas area) to take a job at the JCPenney Corporate Office. I first worked in Procurement, negotiating contracts, but have been doing Internet Marketing since mid-2007. I met my husband, Ben, at our church. We were friends for two years before we started dating in 2006. We married in September of 2008. We bought our first house that same month....he wants to get a dog next :-)
