Check out our virtual Reunion yearbook (p10-11) in the left column for a list of our favorite songs from CHS days.  Many of them were played at our reunion in October, 2021.

KTKT "Color Radio" was Tucson's only lasting Top 40 music station during our CHS years.  It survived a challenge by KFIF and KIKX and it still broadcasts as a Spanish Adult Hits station today.

On New Year's Day, KTKT would play the top hits of the previous year from Midnight until 6 AM, "counting down" from #99 to #1, and published the list for local record stores - Rubitom's and Woolworth's/El Con come to mind.  Below are recreated copies of those lists from faded originals.

Some of the songs are lost to the recesses of our memory, others haven't been heard in over 50 years, but many may evoke wonderful memories of times in our teen years.  

(Some of the songs on the 1966 Top 99 were popular in the first half of 1966, when we were still in 8th grade, but we were still listening to a lot of these songs during our freshman year.)
