Helen Kaye Griffus

According to Ancestry, Helen was born in Michigan, and her parents, Ivan and Geneva, and siblings, Nancy, Susan, Keith, Robert and Lawrence, moved to Tucson while Helen was a young child.  She attended Wright Elementary and Doolen Jr High School before graduating from Catalina High in 1970. She married Harry Dana Lord, a Catalina graduate, in 1970 in Tucson.  Helen is remembered as a kind, friendly and quiet person.  She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Lawrence. Her brother, Robert, died in 2019 in Tucson and his obituary mentions Helen’s and Lawrence’s deaths, though the dates are not known.
