Pamela Jean Wallace passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 27, 2013 at 8:59 p.m. at the age of 61. She was born June 8, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona, and was an extremely accomplished woman. She graduated from the University of Oregon with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and would later retire from Hughes Aircraft Company. During retirement, Pamela enjoyed reading, golfing, and volunteering at the American Legion Post 109; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Pamela is survived by her father, Douglas Polen; two sisters, Susan King (Robert) and Brenda Criss; brother, Ron Polen; long term partner, Wayne Jarrett; son, Gregory Wallace and daughter, Erica Purrington. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace; mother, Patricia Polen and brother, Douglas Polen. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 109 in the dining hall located at 15921 S. Houghton Rd., Corona de Tucson, Arizona 85641.
