Ruth Middleton Roberts (Bowen)
February 27, 1952 - March 6, 2011 (59)
Ruth graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Music and taught high school English for a few years before becoming a flight attendant. She worked for a computer science corporation in Los Angeles and then went to Fuller Seminary where she met her husband, Kevin. In 1988 she earned a Master’s in Divinity and then completed a RN nursing program. After finishing school, she moved to the Pacific Northwest and lived there until her death in 2011. She is buried at Ocean View Cemetery in Port Angeles, WA.

Ellen Vernick (Schartz)
Carol Bell and I shared an apartment with Ruth in college. Carol and I were also bridemaids at Ruth's first wedding which was held on a very hot day at the Arizona Inn.
Ruth was a lot of fun and had a lovely singing voice!
Christia Johnson (Gibbons)
Ruthie and I were childhood friends -- she was always the well behaved one, which was brought to my attention more than once. Our mothers were great friends and in clubs together. I remember that Ruthie's family had the coolest mini house in the back of their regular house, and it was a thrill to play there. She was her own person.
