After High School Ron went to UofA for 2 years studying biology, but his real love was music. He could listen to a song and score all the parts for the different instruments. He started a band similar to Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears. He played the trumpet. We got married in 1972 and toured with the band for a year. When the club we were playing in burned down with all the equipment, it was time to come home. We moved to Long Beach and he worked for the Department of Fish and Game. Within a year all the band members were in Long Beach and they started again. We got divorced in 1978 and I came back to Tucson. The band fell apart and Ron came back to Tucson in 1979. Without his music, he lost his way in life. He died the day before his birthday in 1979.
