Mark Peter Brandt

A funeral mass wil be held at 9am Wednesday at St Cyril's Catholic Church for a Tucson construction worker who was killed at an excavation site Friday.  Mark P Brandt died when a dirt loader he was operating overturned at a job site on River Road and 1st Avenue.

The son of Lt Col and Mrs Jerome Brandt, he was born in Germany.  He attended both Catalina and Salpointe High Schools where he played footbal and was a member of the wrestling team.  He also attended Pima Community College.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five sisters, three brothers and a grandmother.  A scripture service will be held at Palms Mortuary and burial will be at Fort Huachuca Cemetery.
