Can't believe it has been over 40 years since I started at Sabino in 8th grade when the school opened. I moved to Colorado for college and never left. In fact I worked for Housing & Dining Services at the U. of Colorado - Boulder for many years. My family still lives in Tucson so I visit often. Still have to get my Eegees fix.
It was great being one of the first graduating classes at Sabino. We truly did all know each other. Not so great memory is our football team not winning a game till after i graduated but we still did have lots of fun at the games. Great memories of Spirit Week and all the traditions we started. I wonder how many are still around. So grateful for the teachers we had and the administration.
