Went to Tulsa this weekend to see The Phantom of the Opera. AMAZING. For those of you in the area, only one week left to see it. If you haven't, I highly recommend it. You'll be singing the songs in the shower again!

PS. Way to go Sue. I might rent one just to get better gas mileage!:)

Katrina - I just went back and read some posts from the last few days, and I had to laugh at your bench warming comment. :) Yes, I loved the sports. I think it was that I was too uncoordinated to actually PLAY anything, so the only way to be involved was cheering everyone else on.

Speaking of the twins, I got their #'s from their sister and will try and get in touch with them this week, let them know about the site.

Just read Tina's profile about the cable boxes with the buttons to click down and the cord to the tv. How about Atari? Who would have imagined going from breakout and centipede to grand theft auto?!

Hi Everyone! Now that I have moved from Maryland to Texas, I'm in business! (JK...someone had logged me in as a Maryland-er) I'm in Tyler, Texas, and have been about the worst at keeping up with anyone! Just the occasional email to Sue...that's about it! It's hard to keep up with local friends here~ much less H.S., College, Lawton, etc. etc. So it's good we have reunions! My husband didn't want to go to his 20th last year~ but I talked him into it, and he had a great time. By this age, we're all past trying to impress anyone or act like someone we're not. I think we've grown up!! :) I put alot of my memories on my profile. It's amazing how much I've forgotten! I can't remember many of the teachers or classes. How did I get decent grades? :) I'm going to dig through some pictures and find some to add! I don't know that I'm going to get to Tulsa all summer. Wish I could be there for all the planning! I LOVE to plan parties!

Tina - you can always help plan long distance. There are several people offering up help that aren't even living here anymore...just offer up some ideas!

I'm scared to go read what you wrote on your profile... :) Guess I'll dig in and hope that you only put in the GOOD memories that might involve me! LOL. Considering you've known me since we were 4, there are a lot of memories to be had. (Like the time your parents called the cops b/c you didn't tell them you were at my house?? And my dad comes walking around the corner, leading you by the hand taking you home, only to be confronted by our boys in blue?!?) Yikes.

Ok, not too bad, considering what you could have written. LOL. Forgot about the party at Angie's. Kenny Giddens took off when the cops showed up, so I remember we blamed everything on him b/c he had already left. Man, we were cruel.

I found pictures of our freshman year, a party at my house. Slumber party, but the first half we had guys over for a movie. Very strange couples in those pictures, looking back. :)

Angie, I have a picture of you in your headgear from junior high. How much will you pay me NOT to post it??? hehe

Sue I would love to see that picture!!!

Sue Young (Myers)

Be careful what you wish for, I have some pretty interesting pix of you too. ;) I found a whole slew of pictures from an 8th or 9th grade slumber party. Probably 8th b/c Jennifer Wolfe was there. Remember her, white hair, cheerleading squad? We were so evil, waiting until people went to sleep and taking some not so flattering pictures...I'll keep those to myself, unless someone wants to see the evil privately. LOL.

Ok, last post and I have got to get some work done. :) I was going thru those boxes shoved in the back of the closet last night. Apparently I don't throw anything away. I found wedding invitations and wedding programs from Kristi, Melissa, Selena, Derek, and Tina's weddings. Maybe a couple more that I can't remember. Why did I keep those things?!!?! Funny though.

HaHa Sue. I remember that slumber party. That was so much fun. I would like to see those just not on here.

I remember that slumber party too! I think I have a copy of that headgear picture as well! :) We have lots of scary pics from that party!!
Hey Ang~ remember the wrestling tournament that we cheered for when we got snowed in? We stayed overnight at BT Washingon (I think) and cheered ALL night! :)
Also remember spending the night with the cheerleaders at Jennifer O'Neil's house on a snow day, which was my birthday one year. We spent the whole time glued to the TV watching the little girl that was stuck in the well. Jessica? Remember that?!

It was Jessica McClure. She did an interview on the today show last year. She was 20 years old! Google it for more.

Ok, actually I'm swamped but needed a break, but there isn't anyone to play with today. :( I guess I'll try again tomorrow...

It finally stopped raining...

I am actually at home today instead of work. I got another shot in my knee and my gobber hubby hurt his and I had to get him from the ER.

I'm home and I remember all but Kenny. I remember having a crush on him in high school but I never knew about him getting shot til a yr or two after it happened.

I went to Alan's funeral that was a sad day. The day he got shot I remember seeing him up at the school all excited from the dr's office because he had just found out his cancer was in remission. Then I heard he got shot.

Weird cause I had Jason in biology and he sat in front of me in Mr. Bradshaws.

Man Jessica McClure has it been that long? I remember watching that all day too on the tv but it dont seem like it has been that long.

Am watching the movie 13 going on 30; now that is the way to remember how things were. Hilarious. Thriller dance included.

Sherry Snider (Hibbard)

That was a good movie. Thriller gotta love it.

I love the Thriller Dance!

How funny. I was watching the same movie. I remember I thought Michael Jackson was so cool when I was in 8th grade. I remember watching that video all the time.

A little more lively on MB...anyone out there today?? Sheesh, from the lack of responses you would think you guys have a life or something. ;)

I talked to Shawna K last night. Trying to convince her to come with me on Sunday; we'll see.

Have any of you seen previews for a new show on ABC called "Secret Life of the American Teenager"? Molly Ringwald plays the mom. Of a teenager...why does that make me feel so old??

07/10/08 11:11 AM #182

Sherry Snider (Hibbard)

You think you feel old? Have you seen The Dead Zone? Take a look at Michael Anthony Hall. It don't even look like him anymore. LOL I feel old when I see him.

07/10/08 11:33 AM #183

Sue Young (Myers)

Aaaah, Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall.
(on the bus)
"So, you have a boyfriend?"

"Yes, 3 big ones and they lust wimp blood, so quit bugging me before I sic them all over your scrawny @ss."

(at the dance)
"This is Farmer Fred"
"Uh, it's Ted"
"I'm sorry, this is Farmer Ted"
"I'm not really a farmer"

Sue that is so funny. I love that show. Yeh I saw she is now playing a mom of a teenager I feel very old. Where did the time go?

For Christmas 2 years ago my family bought me all those movies - The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Pretty in Pink. I swear I could watch them all over and over again! When nothing is on tv (pretty much every dang day lately) I will turn them on and laugh! I catch new things all the time!!!

07/10/08 01:55 PM #186

It would be fun to have those movies playing on a loop at sometime during the reunion. Even use some of the soundtrack tunes as background music somewhere.
