Love you, Cheri, and Godspeed in your paradise ascension.

My memories of you will always be tied up with my memories of the Senior Play 1964 "The Curious Savage".

Love, Peace, and Aloha.

I wish you an early "happy birthday mothers day" day this year,,, how very-Sandy apropos that it should fall on Mothers Day this year,,, I love you much, Sandy, especially for just being you and who you are, and I wish you a very happy new year of life,,, and you know that I love your husband, Johnny (if it's appropriate after all these years still to call him Johnny), too,,, my love to you both and to the entire Durham-Young clan.

Love you, Larry.  Can never forget you.  Godspeed, my friend, on your paradise journey and ascent, the greatest adventure in all time.  It would be heavenly to bump into you again "some day".  Jerry Akers -- and Jim, too.

To Ela, with Love, Peace, and Aloha!

May God bless you as you have blessed me with your friendship.  I will always remember you.  You made all my school years in North Tyler TX worth remembering, especially, of all things, Miss Smith's first grade class in the basement of Marsh Elementary, yes, since that very first day I ever walked into a school classroom back in September 1952, when I was a tender and callow fellow, and a very scared little guy -- you were a fine friend.

Love Peace and Aloha, Mike.  I remember your smile, your laugh, your humor.  And I remember my smile when I saw you, talked to you.  You kept me smiling.  Godspeed, Mike.

That's me on MLK Monday January 2010 after a 3-mile hike to Kaena Point, NW corner of Oahu, a nature preserve for, among other things, monk seals, black-footed abatross, and green sea turtles, about 10 miles NW of Makaha where I am now living "at the end of the road at the edge of the world" (ha! almost but not quite true!) where the accommodations "ain't exactly deluxe".
==============
Postscript: I no longer live in Makaha; I'm back in Texas, as of October 2010: "... the best laid schemes of mice and men ...", and such as that.
