Linda and I lived in the same neighborhood, rode back and forth to school together sometimes.(High School) The funniest thing that always comes to mind, she asked me to go to Oklahoma with her to see a relative. Well, sounded like quite a fun trip, (we were seniors). We got all packed for the weekend and headed out. When we got to Mineola, she pulled over and I asked what was going on. She said she had to put in more "brake-fluid", the brakes weren't working as well as they should. Long story short, we put in a LOT of fluid before we got back to Tyler. But, we were young and we had a really good time. Then, later, I went with her and her folks to Huntsville to the rodeo. While we were there visiting her relatives to spend the night, the lights dimmed, several times. Her Aunt came in and said not to worry, they were just electrocuting someone at the prison!!! I felt very uneasy all night. But, again, we were good friends and always had a good time together.
