Former Tyler resident George Daniel Echols, 73, passed away in Carrollton, Georgia, in a car accident on March 8, 2017. George was a 1961 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and received his degree in mechanical engineering from LeTourneau University.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Douglas Echols and Reba Moore Echols of Tyler and his sister, Becky Teter of Garland.
Private burial services were arranged by West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia.
